DONGGUAN HydroBlue CO.,LTD. provides precision-engineered hydraulic components and technical support services to the global pump industry — built on the understanding that the impeller is the heart of any centrifugal pump and demands the highest standard of geometric accuracy and material integrity.
Our 8-person technical team combines practical experience across fluid mechanics, mechanical design and precision manufacturing, electrical power systems, and instrumentation. This multidisciplinary capability allows us to assess each impeller requirement from a complete system perspective — vane geometry, flow regime, material erosion behavior, and the dynamic interaction between impeller and casing.
Research collaborations that strengthen our hydraulic engineering include:

Send us your ANDRITZ pump model and impeller specifications — our engineering team will confirm the hydraulic profile and material specification and provide a formal quotation with confirmed lead time.
Our technical brand serves as a single-source solution provider for fluid machinery applications worldwide — integrating component supply, system engineering, and international field services. The product portfolio includes pumps, frequency converters, servo drives, PLC-HMI automation platforms, motor control centers, electric motors and gearboxes, mechanical seals and assemblies, couplings, and gear transmissions. Field engineering services include overseas FARO 3D scanning, laser alignment, pump commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting by our own dispatched engineers.
ANDRITZ Open Impeller is a hydraulic rotating component designed for pumps that handle fluids containing solids, fibrous materials, or high concentrations of entrained particles. In the open impeller design, the vanes are attached to a back shroud or hub with no front shroud covering the vane tips. This open-face configuration creates large flow passages that resist clogging and allow the passage of solids up to the vane height.
The clearance between the vane tips and the stationary casing wall (or side liner) is the critical operating parameter — typically 0.3–1.0 mm depending on pump size. As this clearance opens due to wear from abrasives, internal recirculation increases and pump efficiency degrades. A defining advantage of the open impeller is that the axial position can be adjusted — by shimming the bearing housing or adjusting the back cover — to restore the original tip clearance, extending the operational life of the impeller without replacement.
Our ANDRITZ open impellers are produced using FARO 3D laser scanning of original parts for geometric capture, CNC-machined patterns, investment or resin sand casting, and full CMM dimensional verification. Available with vane tip hardfacing and various surface treatments for extended wear life in abrasive service.
