DONGGUAN HydroBlue CO.,LTD. supplies sealing components and precision-machined pump parts to the global industrial market — founded on the understanding that the packing seal, while one of the simplest shaft sealing methods, must be correctly sized and installed to provide reliable leak control and acceptable packing life.
Our 8-member technical team covers mechanical design and sealing technology, fluid systems engineering, electrical power and controls, and dimensional inspection. This cross-functional capability allows us to select and supply the correct packing configuration for every ANDRITZ pump model, considering fluid type, temperature, pressure, and shaft speed.
Research partnerships that support our packing seal engineering include:

Send us your ANDRITZ pump model and stuffing box dimensions — our team will confirm the correct packing size and material and return a formal quotation with delivery options.
Our brand delivers turnkey fluid machinery capabilities to industrial clients worldwide — encompassing everything from individual precision components to engineered system solutions, reinforced by direct technical support and field service deployment. The businesses we serve include pump and rotating equipment supply, frequency converter and drive electronics, servo control systems, operator interface and programmable logic control panels, motor management and switchgear assemblies, electric rotating machinery and geared speed reducers, mechanical seal systems and packaged seal assemblies, flexible shaft coupling hardware, and gearbox and transmission engineering. For clients requiring hands-on support, we dispatch our own specialists overseas to perform FARO 3D scanning of pump internals for reverse manufacturing, precision laser alignment of pump and driver trains, start-up and performance verification of newly installed equipment, and on-site diagnosis and rectification of operating machinery.
ANDRITZ Packing Seal (also called compression packing or gland packing) is a shaft sealing method in which braided or twisted fiber packing rings are compressed around the shaft inside the stuffing box by a gland follower. The packing creates a controlled leakage path along the shaft surface that lubricates and cools the packing while limiting the escape of pressurized fluid from the pump.
Packing seals remain in wide use because they are simple to install, lower in initial cost than mechanical seals, tolerant of shaft runout and vibration, and can operate on fluids containing minor solids that would rapidly destroy a mechanical seal face. They also allow a small controlled leakage that provides cooling and lubrication to the packing-shaft interface.
Typical packing seal cross sections for centrifugal pumps use 4–6 packing rings, each cut to length with a diagonal or butt joint, staggered around the shaft circumference. The lantern ring (when used) is positioned between the rings to distribute lubricant or quench water.
Our ANDRITZ packing seal sets are supplied as pre-sized rings cut to the correct shaft and bore dimensions, made from material grades matched to the specific pump service conditions.
