DONGGUAN HydroBlue CO.,LTD. delivers precision replacement solutions to the global industrial pump market — combining sound engineering judgment with rigorous manufacturing discipline to produce parts that perform reliably in demanding field conditions.
Our 8-person technical team spans the critical knowledge areas for pump component engineering: hydraulic system design, mechanical engineering and precision machining, power electronics, and instrumentation and measurement. This interdisciplinary base allows us to approach every part with a systems-level perspective — understanding not just how it is made, but how it interacts with adjacent components and operates under actual pump conditions.
We draw on strategic partnerships that expand our technical capacity:

Provide your pump model and balance drum details — our engineering team will verify the specification and provide a complete quotation with material recommendation and delivery schedule.
Our technical brand provides a single accountable source for fluid machinery requirements — spanning parts supply, engineering integration, and international field services. The product portfolio includes pumps, frequency converters, servo drives, PLC-HMI automation panels, motor control cabinets, electric motors and gear reducers, mechanical seals and assemblies, couplings, and gearboxes. For field support, we deploy our own engineers overseas for FARO 3D scanning, laser alignment, pump commissioning, and equipment debugging.
SULZER Balance Drum is a critical component in multi-stage centrifugal pumps, designed to manage the axial thrust generated by the cumulative pressure differential across each impeller stage. In a multi-stage pump, the impellers discharge into progressively higher pressure zones, creating a net axial force that pushes the rotating assembly toward the suction end. Without a balancing mechanism, this thrust would overload the thrust bearing and cause rapid bearing failure.
The balance drum is mounted on the pump shaft at the discharge end. High-pressure fluid from the final stage is routed to the drum's back face, acting against the forward thrust of the impellers. The drum rotating in a close-clearance stationary bushing creates a controlled pressure drop across the radial clearance, producing an adjustable balancing force that keeps the rotating assembly in near-neutral axial position throughout the pump's operating range.
Our replacement balance drums are machined from wear-resistant materials and precision-ground to maintain the correct radial clearance with the balancing bushing over extended service periods. Available with or without surface hardening, depending on service conditions.
