FLOWSERVE Flange Gasket is a precision sealing component installed between pump flange faces to prevent fluid leakage at the joint interface. Flange gaskets in centrifugal pumps must maintain a reliable seal under varying pressures, temperatures, and fluid media — from clean water to abrasive slurry and corrosive process fluids.
Common failure modes include compression set (gasket loses spring-back ability), chemical attack from the process medium, thermal degradation, and erosion from high-velocity fluids. When a gasket fails, the result is leak paths at the flange joint, fluid loss, safety risk, and potential environmental contamination.
Our replacement flange gaskets are manufactured to exact OEM dimensions and material specifications, ensuring perfect fit and sealing performance. Custom gasket profiles — including spiral wound, ring joint (RTJ), and flat gasket designs — are available for non-standard pump models and high-pressure applications.
