FLOWSERVE Centrifugal Pump Impeller – Technical Specifications & Reverse Engineering
About DONGGUAN VINSOME TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
Founded on deep academic and research foundations, DONGGUAN VINSOME TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. brings together expertise in fluid engineering, electrical engineering, and electronic engineering within a single organization. Our long-standing partnerships with Jiangsu University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Guangdong University of Technology enable us to deliver integrated solutions across fluid machinery, industrial automation, and power conversion systems — from hydraulic design through to finished product.
Industry-Academia-Research Partnerships
- Through close collaboration with the National Research Center of Pumps at Jiangsu University, the company engages in pump hydraulic model design, hydraulic performance research, numerical flow simulation, and intelligent energy-saving technology development.
- Partnership with the Chinese Academy of Sciences enables the application of advanced special coating technologies for corrosion & wear resistance.
- Cooperation with Guangdong University of Technology supports capabilities in industrial control and drive systems, including industrial intelligent equipment and frequency converters.
Submit your pump model or a photo of the worn part — our engineering team will evaluate reverse-engineering feasibility and respond with a technical assessment.
Product Overview
The impeller is the core rotating component of a centrifugal pump that transfers energy from the motor to the fluid. A worn or damaged impeller causes reduced flow rate, decreased head pressure, increased vibration, and premature seal failure.
This replacement impeller is reverse-engineered using FARO 3D laser scanning and CFD analysis to match original FLOWSERVE hydraulic profiles. Compatible with FLOWSERVE centrifugal pump models for industrial irrigation and water supply applications. Contact us with your pump model number for compatibility confirmation.
Manufacturing Process
- Reverse Engineering — FARO 3D laser scanning of original impeller → point cloud processing → CAD model reconstruction → CFD flow simulation to verify hydraulic performance
- Material Selection — Cast iron, Wear-resistant cast iron, Cast steel, Stainless steel, Duplex stainless steel, Cast alloy steel based on application requirements
- Mould Making — Investment casting mould or sand casting mould based on material and production volume
- Casting — Wax injection (investment casting) or sand packing → shell building / core setting → dewaxing / pouring → post-cleaning → heat treatment
- CNC Machining — Auto lathe turning of bore and shaft sleeve → meter lathe finishing of vane profiles → drilling/tapping balance holes → grinding of sealing surfaces → wire EDM for complex features
- Dynamic Balancing — Impeller static and dynamic balancing testing
- Surface Treatment — Blacking, polishing, chrome plating, zinc plating, nickel plating, or custom coating per operating environment
- Quality Control — Material certificate verification → hydrostatic pressure test → dimensional inspection via 3D coordinate measuring machine → surface roughness testing → hardness testing → NDT (PT/RT/UT/MT)
