OUR BRANDS & SERVICES

Our proprietary brand provides complete technical solutions across the fluid machinery and engineering spectrum. Supported by our suite of proprietary technologies and product brands, we provide clients with premium technical consultation, sales assistance, and bundled system solutions — covering pumps, frequency converters, servo drives, PLC-HMI, industrial control cabinets, motors, mechanical seals and systems, couplings, gearboxes, and comprehensive engineering project services (overseas on-site 3D scanning reverse molding of pump replacement parts, and field debugging by our dispatched engineers internationally).

Casting & Manufacturing Process
  1. Hydraulic Profile Capture — Original impeller scanned via FARO 3D arm; vane profile, shroud geometry, and hub dimensions digitized for pattern construction
  2. Pattern & Core Box Fabrication — CNC-machined split pattern with core boxes for vane passages and hub cavity; shrinkage allowance applied per casting alloy
  3. Investment or Sand Molding — Investment casting (lost wax) for small stainless steel impellers; resin sand molding for larger iron and steel impellers; V-process for high-chrome slurry impellers
  4. Melting & Pouring — Induction furnace charge with spectrographic chemistry check; pouring temperature controlled within alloy-specific range
  5. Heat Treatment — Normalizing, solution annealing (SS), quench and temper (steel), or sub-critical anneal (Ni-Hard) per material specification
  6. Machining — Impeller bore, hub face, keyway, shroud ODs, and back face machined on CNC turning center in single setup for concentricity
  7. Dynamic Balancing — Impeller mounted on balancing arbor; residual unbalance corrected by material removal from shrouds
  8. Final Dimensional & Vane Profile Verification — CMM scan completes vane thickness, angle, and spacing check; bore and keyway dimensions confirmed; balance report issued
Common Failure Modes & When to Replace
  • Erosion / Abrasive Wear — Material loss from vane leading edges and shroud surfaces due to entrained solids in the pumped fluid. Vane thinning reduces hydraulic performance over time; replace when vane thickness at the tip is noticeably reduced
  • Corrosion / Chemical Attack — Surface pitting, intergranular corrosion, or general thinning caused by aggressive fluid chemistry. Select the correct material grade (SS 316, duplex, or specialty alloys) to minimize corrosion rate
  • Cavitation Damage — Localized pitting on vane surfaces and shroud faces caused by vapor bubble collapse under low suction pressure conditions. Address suction condition and consider cavitation-resistant materials or coatings
  • Cracking / Mechanical Damage — Vane cracking from fatigue, foreign object impact, or handling damage. Inspect impeller during every overhaul; replace if cracks are found in any vane or shroud
How to Order
  1. GOULDS Pump Model & Serial Number — Most efficient way to identify impeller type, trim diameter, and material grade
  2. Impeller Type & Material — Closed or semi-open; standard material or upgrade for corrosive/abrasive service
  3. Trim Diameter — If a specific trim diameter is required (e.g., for duty point matching), provide the target diameter or pump performance curve
  4. Balance Requirement — Standard static/dynamic balance or specify higher balance grade for high-speed applications
  5. Coating or Hardfacing — Specify if Stellite hardfacing on vane tips, ceramic coating, or other surface protection is needed
  6. Delivery — 25–45 days after deposit; longer lead time for investment-cast stainless steel and high-alloy materials

Payment: 70% T/T deposit, balance against copy of B/L. Small orders via PayPal or Western Union.

FAQ

Q1: How do I know what impeller trim diameter I need?

A: The impeller trim diameter determines the pump head at a given flow rate. If you have the pump performance curve, we can select the trim that matches your duty point. If the curve is unavailable, we can supply the impeller at the maximum trim diameter and you can machine it down, or we can scan the existing impeller and reproduce the same trim.

Q2: Can a semi-open impeller replace a closed impeller in the same GOULDS casing?

A: In some GOULDS models, both closed and semi-open impellers can be fitted to the same casing by adjusting the back cover clearance and changing the wear ring configuration. We can advise on conversion feasibility for your specific pump model.

Q3: What is the typical lead time for a stainless steel investment-cast impeller?

A: Investment-cast SS impellers require pattern preparation followed by the lost wax casting cycle, which extends total production time. Typical lead time is 30–45 days after deposit for small to medium size stainless steel impellers.

Q4: Do you offer impellers for GOULDS pumps no longer in production?

A: Yes. If a casting pattern is unavailable for an older or discontinued GOULDS model, we can reverse-engineer the impeller from the original part using FARO 3D scanning. This covers legacy models where OEM replacement impellers are no longer stocked.
