Our ecosystem of proprietary technologies and product brands offers clients high-caliber technical consultation, sales support, and comprehensive product solutions — including pumps, variable frequency converters, servo drives, PLC-HMI, control cabinets, motors, mechanical seals and assemblies, couplings, gearboxes, and full-scope engineering services (overseas on-site 3D scanning reverse molding of pump replacement parts and equipment debugging by our engineers deployed internationally).
SEEPEX Stator is the stationary elastomer-lined component in a SEEPEX progressive cavity pump (PCP) that works together with the rotor to create the positive displacement pumping action. The stator consists of a steel outer shell with a precision-molded and ground elastomer inner liner formed into a double-helix cavity. As the single-helix rotor rotates within this cavity, sealed pockets of fluid are progressively transported from the suction end to the discharge end of the pump.
The stator is the component in a PCP that typically sees the longest service life, commonly lasting 2–4 times longer than the rotor. However, it is also the more expensive replacement part due to the material and manufacturing complexity. The stator liner must maintain its helix geometry, elastic properties, and bond to the shell throughout its service life to sustain the pump's volumetric efficiency and discharge pressure capability.
SEEPEX stators are available with elastomer liners in natural rubber, NBR, HNBR, EPDM, FKM, and other compounds to match the specific fluid chemistry, temperature, and abrasiveness of the application. The steel shell can be supplied in carbon steel or stainless steel grades.
Our SEEPEX replacement stators are manufactured using compression molding and controlled vulcanization of the elastomer liner, with finished helix grinding and dimensional certification to match the original SEEPEX geometry, pitch, and lead.
