SEEPEX Discharge Housing (also referred to as the outlet casing, discharge end, or pump end cover) is the pressure-containing component mounted at the discharge end of a SEEPEX progressive cavity pump. It connects the downstream piping to the pump and transitions the pumped fluid from the stator outlet bore to the discharge flange or threaded connection.
The discharge housing serves several critical functions: it contains the pump's discharge pressure, houses the discharge-side mechanical seal or shaft seal, provides the connection interface for the discharge piping, incorporates the rotor shaft bushing, and provides access for priming ports, drain ports, and pressure gauge connections. In some SEEPEX configurations, the stator is mounted directly to the discharge housing, making it a structural link in the pump assembly.
SEEPEX discharge housings are available in various materials and configurations depending on the pump series and service conditions. Standard discharge housings are cast iron for general industrial service, with cast steel, CF8M (316 SS), and duplex stainless steel options for corrosive or high-pressure applications. The connection interface can be a flanged outlet (DIN or ANSI), threaded NPT/BSP outlet, or sanitary Tri-Clamp connection for hygienic pump models.
Our SEEPEX replacement discharge housings are manufactured from certified castings or bar stock, machined to the original housing geometry, flange drilling, seal chamber dimensions, and bushing bore specifications.
