Provide your pump model and rotor specifications — our team will assess compatibility and come back with a detailed technical proposal.
Our brand delivers complete technical solutions within the fluid machinery and engineering sectors. Through our range of specialized technologies and product brands, we equip our clients with high-level technical advisory, commercial support, and integrated product solutions — covering pumps, frequency converters, servo drives, PLC-HMI, industrial control cabinets, motors, mechanical seals and assemblies, couplings, gearboxes, and turnkey engineering services (overseas on-site 3D scanning reverse molding of pump replacement parts and equipment debugging by our engineers deployed overseas).
SEEPEX Rotor is the single-helix rotating element that forms the internal sealing and pumping core of a SEEPEX progressive cavity pump. The rotor's external single-helix profile rotates eccentrically inside the stator's double-helix elastomer liner, creating sealed cavities that advance axially from the suction end to the discharge end, producing a smooth, continuous, pulsation-free flow of the pumped medium.
The rotor is the component in a PCP that typically wears fastest because it is the moving element in continuous contact with the stationary elastomer liner. Rotor surface condition—hardness, surface finish, and coating integrity—directly affects both the service life of the rotor itself and the wear rate of the stator liner.
SEEPEX rotors are manufactured from a range of materials to suit the specific fluid environment. Standard rotor materials include chrome steel with hard chrome plating, 17-4PH precipitation-hardening stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, and duplex or super-duplex stainless for the most corrosive services. Rotor surface treatments range from hard chrome plating for standard duty to HVOF tungsten carbide, Stellite overlays, and ceramic coatings for severe abrasive or corrosive conditions.
Our SEEPEX replacement rotors are precision-machined from certified bar stock or forgings, CNC-helix turned, ground to final geometry, surface-treated, dynamically balanced, and supplied with full dimensional and material documentation.
