What these parts do — In a progressing-cavity (single-screw) pump, the rotor is a helically shaped screw that turns inside a stator — a casing whose internal profile is lined with an elastomer. As the rotor turns, cavities of fluid are moved steadily from the suction end to the discharge end. The drive joint (often a pin or cardan-type coupling) transmits drive from the shaft to the rotor while allowing the offset motion. These are the parts that wear first, so they are the ones most often replaced.

How replacement parts are produced — For made-to-order or replacement SEEPEX-type screw-pump parts, the typical workflow is:

1. Confirm the duty — collect the pump model / size, the medium, temperature, and whether the worn part is a rotor, stator, or drive joint.
2. Review the existing part — record the geometry, profile, and (for the stator) the elastomer type where available.
3. Select the material — rotor steel grade by duty; stator elastomer matched to the fluid (see Material below).
4. Make the part — the rotor is machined and surface-treated; the stator is formed and bonded to its elastomer liner; the drive joint is machined to the joint geometry.
5. Inspection — profile, dimensions, surface, and (for the stator) bond quality are checked before dispatch.
6. Match — rotor and stator are supplied as a matched pair where the application needs it.

For screw-pump parts, packing is arranged by part and size:

• Rotor / drive joint — individually wrapped and packed into a paper carton or crate with cushioning to protect the machined surface.
• Stator — protected against compression and deformation, packed so the liner is not damaged in transit.
• Larger parts — wooden crate suitable for sea freight as needed.
• Custom packing — we can follow a customer's specified packing requirement.
