4. Balancing — the impeller is statically and dynamically balanced to reduce vibration and extend seal and bearing life.
5. Surface & coating — apply blacking, polishing, plating, or a wear/corrosion coating suited to the pumped fluid.
6. Inspection — verify dimensions, run hydrostatic and non-destructive testing where applicable, then pack for shipment.
