Our proprietary brand delivers complete technical solutions for fluid machinery and engineering systems. We specialize in industrial control and drive equipment, mechanical seals, and international field engineering support. Through our ecosystem of specialized technologies and product brands, we provide clients with high-level technical advisory, commercial support, and integrated product solutions — including pumps, variable frequency converters, servo drives, PLC-HMI interfaces, industrial control cabinets, motors, mechanical seals and assemblies, couplings, gearboxes, and turnkey engineering services (overseas on-site 3D scanning reverse molding for pump replacement parts and equipment debugging by our dispatched engineers abroad).
SANDPIPER Check Valve Ball (also called the valve ball, check ball, or ball check valve) is the spherical sealing element inside the suction and discharge check valve assemblies of air-operated double-diaphragm (AODD) pumps. Each SANDPIPER pump uses four check valve balls — two on the suction side (one per chamber) and two on the discharge side (one per chamber).
During operation, the check ball lifts off its seat during the suction or discharge stroke to allow flow, and returns to the seat during the opposite stroke to prevent backflow. The ball must be perfectly spherical, have consistent density for uniform seating, and be resistant to chemical attack, abrasion, and deformation under pressure.
SANDPIPER check valve balls are manufactured in a variety of materials: elastomer balls (Buna-N, Neoprene, EPDM, FKM) for general chemical service, thermoplastic balls (PTFE, Polypropylene, PVDF, HDPE) for corrosive fluids, and metal balls (SS 316, Hastelloy, Ceramic) for high-temperature, high-pressure, or highly abrasive service. The correct ball diameter and material must match the pump model and the specific fluid conditions.
Our SANDPIPER replacement check valve balls are precision-ground or molded to the specified diameter with tight spherical tolerance, surface finish verified, and material certified for the intended service.
